My favorite stuffs from Plants vs. Zombies shooter games...

Even though if I clearly only play standard Plants vs. Zombies tower defense games on various of my devices that I own, but since I also watch various of Plants vs. Zombies shooter gameplay videos on YouTube by various YouTubers who uploaded them since my childhood, I decided to create this particular article here because I also interested by all of those contents that are available on each of the games themselves, ranging from the characters themselves from both plant and zombie sides, until all the way to the IRL merchandises that were once existed back in those days. So, as usual, let's take a look about the particular topic that this particular article's title clearly says, shall we?

Note : Many of those returning characters from the first Garden Warfare aren't included in this list (excluding those of the promotional characters), because they all look exactly the same, except for their designs and certain buffs or nerfs that were occurred on most of those characters through many of those patch notes that were once available per each of those updates from their first one from the first Garden Warfare until all the way to their last one from it's sequel that they did.

B. Character abilities

Through three different games themselves, there are bunch of those character abilities from both plant and zombie sides that are my favorites (though not all of them that I listed here, especially for those ones that are from Battle for Neighborville [which they're somewhat obscure to tell]), so those are:

1. Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare and it's sequel...

C. Maps

Through three different games themselves, there are plenty of those locations that are my favorites (though not all of them that I listed here, especially for those ones that are from Battle for Neighborville [which they're somewhat obscure to tell]), so those are:

1. Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare

a. Multi game modes

  • Garden Center
  • Zomboss Estate
  • Suburban Flats
  • Port Scallywag
  • Crash Course
  • Jewel Junction

b. Gardens & Graveyards

  • Main Street
  • Driftwood Shores
  • Cactus Canyon

  • Funderdome

b. Turf Takeover

  • Turning Point
  • Goopy Gully
  • Peachy District
  • Preserve Pastures

D. Ports

Even though I still clearly don't have any physical copies of (at least) one of those games and proper device to play them since then, but if I want to play them, the PC port is definitely the one that I'm looking for. However, since there are lot of total hacker problems in PC version of Garden Warfare 2 since last several years since the entire game's initial launch (excluding those of the genuine mods by several of their respective genuine authors out there), the console version is also my good option. Also, the Switch version of Battle for Neighborville is possibly my good option as well.

E. IRL merchandises...

Believe or not, since I also centering around the IRL merchandises of the franchise as a whole (both from the standard tower defense games section and shooter games section), there were plenty of official IRL merchandises that were existed somewhere from several years ago, which those were Diamond Select Toys, Minimates, Funko Pop, Jazwares, and K'NEX, respectively. So, those ones that are my favorites are:

1. Diamond Select Toys

  • Scientist and Peashooter (in his Pea Gatling ability)*
  • All Star and Shadow Flower*
  • Foot Soldier and Camo Cactus*
  • Marine Biologist and Toxic Pea*
  • Goalie Star and Sunflower*
  • Captain Deadbeard and Kernel Corn**
  • Super Brainz and Rose**
  • Disco Zombie and Peashooter**

* means it was based from the Garden Warfare.
** means it was based from the Garden Warfare 2.

2. Minimates

Even though there were bunch of them that packed inside those blisters, but I spotted few of them that were my favorites, so those were:

a. Plants

  • Peashooter
  • Fire Pea
  • Sunflower
  • Shadow Flower
  • Kernel Corn
  • Rose

b. Zombies

  • Foot Soldier
  • Scientist
  • Captain Deadbeard
  • Super Brainz

3. Funko Pop

AFAIK, Funko Pop only released just a single Super Brainz figure. Though it wasn't my favorite, but the design of it was great overall.

4. Jazwares

Believe or not, Jazwares did release some of the figure sets that were based from the shooter games section, specifically from Garden Warfare 2. Though those weren't as memorable as their tower defense game's counterparts which they used to produce and manufacture them initially since 2012, but I spotted couple of them that were my favorites. So, those sets were:

  • Captain Deadbeard and Parrot Pal, and
  • that one box which contained 6 certain figures like Peashooter, Chomper, Kernel Corn, Foot Soldier, Imp, and Captain Deadbeard, respectively.

5. K'NEX

Courtesy: SquirrelStampede's YouTube channel

Courtesy: SquirrelStampede's YouTube channel

And finally, those ones that I always excited the most since 2014, which were those of the K'NEX ones. Similarly to the Jazwares, they also used to release those characters from the shooter games section right after they initially released those ones that were from the tower defense games section, specifically based off Plants vs. Zombies 2 judging by their designs... Since I own most of those figures since I got them from a while ago, I spotted plenty of them that were my favorites, which majority of them were the plant characters (because why not, every zombie characters just simply didn't come with their primary weapons, except Super Brainz [since he is a melee character class]). Anyway, those figures were:

a. Series 4 blind bags

  • Kernel Corn
  • Rose
  • Citron
  • Peashooter
  • Super Brainz

b. Series 5 and 6 blind bags

Note : Kernel Corn, Rose, and Citron aren't included in this particular list, because they all look exactly the same.

  • Power Flower
  • Plasma Pea

c. Small building sets...

Courtesy: SquirrelStampede's YouTube channel (which was the one that featured me in there...)

I would choose that Crazy Targets one, since that set was the only one that exclusively featured that Sunflower, albeit it also obviously came with the Foot Soldier with that weird looking ZPG... That Boat Blast building set was also my favorite thanks to the presence of that Peashooter, although I was so utterly disappointed by how awful the building set itself looked.

6. Others...

a. Limited edition figure of Z7 Imp in his mech...

Similarly to that Funko Pop Super Brainz figure, it also wasn't my favorite, but the design of it was great though.

b. Bootleg figures...

Of course those of the bootleg ones were existed, although they were rare to come by, unlike those of the mad common ones that were from the tower defense games section. Despite it's existence, I spotted few of them that were my favorites, which were those of the cheap knockoff version of the Diamond Select Toys ones.

Before I wrap up this entire article, do you have your own memories when it comes to playing those of the Plants vs. Zombies shooter game trilogy? Or even collecting those figure sets from those games instead? If so, feel free to share your own story in your comments section if you still remembered them though. Anyway, that's basically it for what I could share particularly about my favorite stuffs from Plants vs. Zombies shooter games as a whole, and as always, thanks for reading this particular article.

your favorite K'NEX Plants vs. Zombies NON Peashooter mini figures...

After I made my article that clearly explained particularly about my favorite K'NEX Plants vs. Zombies Peashooter mini figures, so it's time for explaining about my other favorite K'NEX Plants vs. Zombies plant mini figures that aren't Peashooters... I know if most of those figures weren't my personal favorites, but I spotted plenty of them that were also my favorites, so. Well then, let's take a look at those of the said figures of them, shall we?

According to what I clearly stated in one of my older articles that I made particularly back from almost 6 years ago, there were 4 of them that were my favorites (although one of them is now no longer my favorites), so those were:

  1. Sunflower : Possibly one of my favorite Sunflower mini figures that I ever seen, although I still prefer that 2013 Indonesian KFC toy equivalent of the similar character. This was also the one and only Sunflower mini figure that had it's own ability where I was able to rotate her head 360 degree, unlike majority of toys and mini figures from various toy companies that featured her in each if the sets... That also applied to her Garden Warfare counterpart of the said character too (including one of her variants; for this case, it was Power Flower), but unfortunately I didn't have that one yet to this day (and so for that aforementioned variant of herself too, bummer).🌻
  2. Bloomerang : This was possibly my most favorite K'NEX Plants vs. Zombies mini figure that wasn't Peashooter or any of his variants. Although I used to have one of those mad common cheap PVC mini figure equivalent of the similar character, but as soon as I acquired this one, I was so amazed by the design of it overall. Even though there was the Jazwares mini figure equivalent of the aforementioned character, but I still prefer this one because it somewhat had better versatility where I was able to flick his own "hockey stick" boomerang projectiles.
  3. Cabbage-pult : Even though this used to be one of my favorites, especially about how I used to be a mad enthusiast with it instead of Peashooter and all of his variants... As for the figure itself, it was possibly one of my favorites where it simply had partially better appearance compared to one of those mad common cheap PVC mini figure equivalent of the similar character that I used to own.
  4. Rose (Garden Warfare 2) : This was my favorite K'NEX Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2 mini figure that I ever acquired that wasn't the Peashooter or one of his variants that they featured (for this case, it was Plasma Pea), although it wasn't on the same level as that Peashooter would do. Design-wise, I know if this wasn't the greatest (which was lower tier than the Citron and Kernel Corn), but it is somewhat better versatility than that costly Diamond Select Toys figure equivalent of her... For some odd reason, the one that I specifically own had slightly better appearance compared to most people who owned it (especially for both of her eyes though, if I'm not mistaken), including several people who discovered them through many old YouTube reviews that featured them from a while back.🌹
(Video courtesy on the 📱 that I'm holding there: Puppet Steve's YouTube channel)

As for the other plant figures besides those that I clearly mentioned above, here are the honorable mentions of the rest of the plant mini figures about them:

  • Wall-nut and Infi-nut : I decided to mention them both here because these were definitely my least favorite K'NEX Plants vs. Zombies plant figures that I ever seen so far, being the Infi-nut was the worse one between the two.
  • Bonk Choy : Even though this one wasn't my personal favorite, but I'm pretty sure you used to excite over it, including the dark transparent green version of it too.
  • Snapdragon : Again, even though this one wasn't my personal favorite, but some people out there would remember the time when they used to discover this exact character in one of the blind bag series, it was definitely the most dangerous K'NEX Plants vs. Zombies plant mini figure that they ever assembled.
  • Laser Bean : Similarly to the previous 4 plants of the same reason, but I'm pretty sure most of the people would used to excite over it instead, either from that particular building set that exclusively featured it or one of the blind bag series.
  • Coconut Cannon : Again, similarly to the previous 5 plants of the same reason, except it was only featured exclusively in the one and the only building set that featured him, so.🥥
  • Kernel Corn (Garden Warfare 2) : Even though I own this one which isn't my personal favorites, but I had to admit if the design of the entire figure itself was definitely one of the greater ones that they ever designed and produced in general.🌽
  • Citron (Garden Warfare 2) : Similarly to the Kernel Corn of the same reason, but with vastly greater design since this was the one and the only IRL figure of the aforementioned character itself that specifically existed in those times.🍊

Well then, there you have it for what I could particularly say over those old K'NEX Plants vs. Zombies mini figures of themselves, specifically for any other plant figures besides the Peashooter and all of his variants which I already mentioned in one of my articles that exposed about them from couple of months ago. Again, even though there are lot of those Chinese sets that are somewhat "inspired" most of their designs from them nowadays (excluding the ones from the shooter games section), but those of the said mini figures of themselves were still my personal favorites to this day, but still, the plastic quality of them weren't that great either... Anyway, if you have your own thoughts and good old memories regarding to this exact topic, feel free to share your own story in the comments section if you're able to. That's it for what I could particularly say about this particular topic, and as always, thanks for reading this entire article.

your favorite K'NEX Plants vs. Zombies Peashooter mini figures...❔

All of my K'NEX Plants vs. Zombies Peashooter mini figures that I have (except for one of them which I still didn't have that yet)

Can't believe it if I actually made yet another article that literally explained about one of those official Plants vs. Zombies mini figure sets that were once existed back in those days, and of course you definitely familiar with several of those ones that I have in my own collection since a while, which are those of the old K'NEX mini figure sets of themselves... However, I will spot some of my favorite plant characters that I always excited the most which they used to feature them in majority of those sets that they released back in those days, which are Peashooter and 4 of his following variants, respectively.

Even though I already made my article that briefly explained about them in general from roughly 6 years ago (based on their raw designs that they designed and manufactured them in general), but I decided to take another look at them again based on my own personal opinion about how come if I always excited over these mini figures for multitude reasons. Without further ado, let me answer about the aforementioned topic about them, shall we?

Before I begin, you probably remembered those of the very early days of K'NEX Plants vs. Zombies in general, right? If so, how about their first blind bag series that they ever released on the market from then? Well, if you still remember those good old times when they used to pack all 8 figures in each of their own blind bags, they literally packed each of them inside some sort of tissue papers (and so for some K'NEX bricks that were wrapped inside their own separate plastic transparent bag)... General traits of them aside, how about the appearance of those figures that they used to produce them back then though? Well, at first glance, they all look exactly the same as each of their own ordinary designs that they clearly featured in each of the sets that featured them, specifically between their dedicated graphic designs of themselves and the actual mini figures of themselves. However, after I somehow keep watching those of the old review videos of them from various YouTubers for many years since then, I noticed a bit of difference on those of the plant figures. It might be hard to compare between those of the newer ones and those of the first iteration of themselves, but it was somewhat noticeable for a bit on the Peashooters.

In case you've wondering about what are those traits of that K'NEX Plants vs. Zombies Peashooter mini figure that I'm referring to, here are my lists about it, right away:

  1. First iteration: Slightly thicker stem*, slightly larger eyes**, and had simple hexagonal (❔) hole design on each of it's own pea projectiles.
  2. Second iteration: Slightly thinner stem and slightly smaller eyes compared to the first iteration, but it retained the similar style of the hole design on each of it's own pea projectiles.
  3. Third iteration: Roughly similar to the second iteration, except with vastly different hole design on each of it's own pea projectiles compared to the first or second iterations (literally the same projectile's hole design that they used it initially on each of the Cabbage-pult's cabbage projectiles, and then it eventually shared into majority of the plant figures later on [including Peashooter and 4 of his variants]).

* means also applied sometimes with Fire Peashooter.
** means not sure if this was the case, because it sometimes had slightly smaller eyes similarly to both of it's newer iterations. This trait also applied sometimes with Fire Peashooter too, albeit it was somewhat inconsistent.

Example of the first iteration of K'NEX Plants vs. Zombies Peashooter mini figure (Courtesy: SquirrelStampede's YouTube channel)

Of course the one that I own is the third iteration, it's because I purchased it NOS from somewhere in 2017, while it was originally packed inside it's own K'NEX Plants vs. Zombies Series 1 that literally lurked it inside... Although I literally have it since a while, but I always prefer the first iteration of it, simply because the design of that one was slightly beefier compared to any of those newer ones that I already mentioned above.

Now, how about those variants besides the original one that I mentioned just earlier? There were 4 of them that literally existed IRL after the original one, those were the Snow Pea, Fire Peashooter, Peashooter from Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare, and Plasma Pea from Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare... Among all of them, I liked the Snow Pea the most. It's because I simply enjoyed the in-game accurate design of it for it's size, unlike that one cheapo PVC mini figure of himself of the similar character... As for the rest besides the Snow Pea, that Peashooter from Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare is definitely my second favorite. Even though the design of it is slightly off compared to how he should look like in both of those Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare games, but I still excited over it too, thanks to the popularity of the Peashooter himself in both of those aforementioned Plants vs. Zombies shooter games (yep, because of his highly iconic in-game model of him and his highly memorable kazoo-y voice lines, thanks PopCap)... For the last two Peashooter variants (which are Fire Peashooter and Plasma Pea from Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare), both of these are probably my least favorites. Even though I also own that Fire Peashooter, I decided to say so due to the way they designed it, they literally used the similar shape as the original one instead of the current one that clearly exists in Plants vs. Zombies 2 since a long time ago, except for the fact it used the transparent plastic materials instead of the usual solid ones (no wonder why I already cracked, chipped, and shattered most parts of mine already). Lastly, specifically for the Plasma Pea, although I still didn't have it yet until this day, it still shared the same traits in similar fashion about how I excited over that regular Peashooter too (even though it looked partially tacky to me in my own opinion).

Note: Even though those are always my favorites, they all shared their dreaded goof where the connection between the stem and the bottom leafy part of each of them were loose as heck (and so for both of those that were from the shooter game's counterparts too, which the connection between the stem and both of their pea pod arms were loose).

2 K'NEX Plants vs. Zombies Fire Peashooter mini figures... (one of them has slightly thinner stem compared to the other one)

Well then, there you have it for what I could particularly say over those old K'NEX Plants vs. Zombies mini figures of themselves. Even though there are lot of those Chinese sets that are somewhat "inspired" their shapes from them nowadays by "enlarging" each of them (except for those from the shooter games), but those of the said mini figures of themselves were still my personal favorites to this day, even if the plastic quality of them weren't that great, however. Anyway, if you have your own thoughts and good old memories regarding to this exact topic, feel free to share your own story in the comments section if you're able to. That's it for what I could particularly say about this particular topic, and as always, thanks for reading this entire article.

SquirrelStampede: The Man Behind His Plants vs. Zombies Toys...🐿

Pretty sure you probably mentioned this particular YouTuber in few of my articles that explains about my own Plants vs. Zombies stuffs, ranging from my main series of my aforementioned collection of themselves (which it only lasted about 4 parts, and that was it), until all the way to how I briefly mentioned this particular legend in few of them. Well, of course I watched almost all of his review videos of themselves since his first review video of them that he published back in 2014, and I obviously fascinated by how he reviewed certain of his toy or figure sets that I always wanted. Without further ado, let me particularly explain about my whole story about how I discovered this particular YouTuber who is well-known for reviewing any sort of Plants vs. Zombies stuffs.

a. First time discovering him...🐿

Courtesy: his YouTube channel

Before I discovered him and his first legendary Plants vs. Zombies toy review that he ever uploaded and published on YouTube in 2014, I casually watched any kinds of Plants vs. Zombies stuffs, ranging from the usual gameplay videos that I encountered from then (which majority of them that I watched were obviously from the original TD game, followed by the earliest days of it's sequel), until all the way to certain IRL collectible stuffs from themselves (which were hard to come by in it's days, unlike how I particularly encountered them since post-2014 and onwards). Everything particularly about how I watched them on YouTube were all that simple, until I found that one upcoming slideshow video from somebody else who featured some of my wanted Plants vs. Zombies mini figures. After that particular video that I watched, I eventually watched the actual review video of the aforementioned set of themselves, and believe or not, it was reviewed by the legend himself, SquirrelStampede! Even though I also discovered certain YouTubers who reviewed them in their hands specifically after he published his own review of them, I had to admit if his review of themselves were the best ones among all of the ones that I ever watched on YouTube, followed by certain other YouTubers who reviewed them in it's days too (for this case, The Review Spot, FGeeTV, Pixel Dan, and etc.). This also made me fascinated by how he acquired even more of Plants vs. Zombies collectible stuffs after his first one that he reviewed it just earlier, and so for his series of "Plants vs. Zombies Toy Play" too.

As for his own channel itself, he also reviewed any collectible stuffs besides Plants vs. Zombies. Those were Super Mario, Pac-Man, Minecraft, some random official Lego sets, and many more. You probably wondering about how come his channel is nicknamed like so, it's because he's literally a squirrel enthusiast (if I'm not mistaken), judging by how he briefly featured certain of his squirrel mini figures and certain toys as his usual cameo in majority of his review videos, including most of his Plants vs. Zombies review videos that I ever watched. 🐿

b. The Plants vs. Zombies sets that he reviewed...🐿

Courtesy: his YouTube channel

Since his first one that he reviewed them back in 2014, there were even more sets that he acquired since then until few years later. Excluding certain of the cheapo Chinese alternative sets or bootleg sets that he got, here are the lists about the official Plants vs. Zombies sets that he acquired for his collection:

  1. K'NEX Series 1-5 blind bags (all 8 figures per each of the series [4 plants and 4 zombies, respectively], which the last 2 series were based off from Garden Warfare 2),
  2. Various Jazwares sets (both from original TD game and it's sequel),
  3. Certain Diamond Select Toys sets (both from original Garden Warfare and it's sequel),
  4. Certain K'NEX building sets (Football Mech, Cone Mech, Pirate Seas Plank Walk, Crazy Targets [Garden Warfare 2], Boat Blast [Garden Warfare 2], etc.), and
  5. 2015 Burger King toys of the whole franchise itself (limited edition set, and it even included that one mini LCD handheld game among all of them)

c. My interaction with him, and eventually...🐿

Courtesy: his YouTube channel

Believe or not, I actually had plenty of my great moments when it comes to how I enjoying his Plants vs. Zombies reviews particularly since then. Of course I started by commenting on most of his review videos, especially for those of his K'NEX blind bag opening codes. Even though it was all that normal at first, until I somehow "overwhelmed" by all of those replies with either jumbled letters or words (which I realized if most of the people commented like so were done by their infants instead of casually from themselves), or even offense replies specifically for no reason whatsoever (especially in one of his aforementioned review of themselves, and for this case, it was K'NEX Plants vs. Zombies Series 3 blind bag opening codes, because I commented it right after he published that particular video)... Despite all of those messes that they made to me through plenty of them, that didn't stop me to get my own K'NEX Plants vs. Zombies figures on my own collection too, particularly for most of the plant figures that I always wanted the most.

Even though there were plenty of Plants vs. Zombies enthusiasts like I do in his comment section of majority of his reviews of themselves (including that one particular geek that I already mentioned for a bit in one of my older articles that I made it from a long time ago, I think), that also didn't stop me for getting famous in his review videos, and he eventually did it specifically in that one review of two K'NEX Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2 building sets that he did so in 2017. However, I didn't watch it particularly right after he published it due to I always bothered by all of those messes on that one aforementioned review of one of those K'NEX Plants vs. Zombies blind bag opening codes that I mentioned just earlier. So, I decided to watch it approximately after more than a year since he published it, and I was surprised by how he literally featured that one picture that I made on one of my Instagram accounts that I own (which obviously consist plethora of my Plants vs. Zombies collectible stuffs), which was this one!

Yep, thanks to the fact I'm also an electric fan enthusiast, he clearly did it because according to himself, it was one of the greatest fan shot that he ever seen so far, although I actually took that particular picture using my old 2010 Nokia feature phone (don't ask me particularly about why I took it using that particular old 🥔). Not only just that, he also liked and commented bunch of my pictures that I posted on the aforementioned Instagram account as well... Now, as for how I decided to take a conversation through direct message chat with him particularly on Instagram, I casually said "Hello" to him, without my own intention of me asking about anything about his legendary Plants vs. Zombies collection in the first place. Well, you probably recognize this exact moment as what I clearly stated in one of my older articles about how I casually met him just like what I stated just earlier, until how I actually got most of my favorite Plants vs. Zombies mini figure that I always wanted straight from him for free, but not all of them though.

🆗, back to where I initially met him through the Instagram's direct chat between myself and himself. After I said "Hello" word casually like what I clearly stated earlier, he immediately offered me to do some free giveaway of his Plants vs. Zombies figure sets exclusively to me, and I obviously requested most of the K'NEX plant figures that I wanted the most, albeit not all of them though (specifically for the ones that I still missed since then until today). It took a while for my conversation between myself and the legend himself, and he eventually sent me several of K'NEX Plants vs. Zombies blind bags for free, in addition of one of my most wanted plant figure that was packed in a transparent zipped bag, and even the appreciation note straight from himself. As for the figures themselves per each of the bags that he sent it to me, I already listed them in the same original article about how I specifically did this to him as well.

Well then, there you have it for my greatest moments when it comes to how I discovered this particular legend who is well-known for reviewing certain Plants vs. Zombies collectible stuffs that I always wanted since his debut review of themselves until the last one that he reviewed, unless if certain of his Chinese alternative sets or bootleg sets of them would count, because I simply don't care with those of the said sets that he reviewed them anyway (because I still literally can find them much easier until this day, even with completely different sets that they sell nowadays). In conclusion, his reviews of Plants vs. Zombies sets are the greatest among all of the ones that I ever watched on YouTube, especially for certain ones that I always wanted. It also made it unexpectedly better on me, specifically about how he featured myself in one of his Plants vs. Zombies building set reviews, and followed by how he exclusively offered me by sending some of his Plants vs. Zombies mini figure sets to me for free... To wrap up this particular article, if you also have some good memories when it comes to watching his own contents, specifically about his Plants vs. Zombies reviews, feel free to let me know particularly about it in the comments section if you remembered it though. As always, thanks for reading this particular article, and cheers!

I'm sorry, our Plants vs. Zombies lovers 5... No more for my favorites (again), but...

Ugh, for f**k sake! I can't even believe it if I was able to make my fifth message about this issue associated with my Plants vs. Zombies stuff all over again. Even though I clearly stated an ultimatum in order not to continue this issue, but nope! I decided to break that statement by explaining on this particular article about what's going on between myself and those of my Plants vs. Zombies collectible items these days. Well, here are my results about why I keep saying more than just "sorry" word about those things, so it's time to explain an update about what's going on between myself and those of the said things that I wanted since around 5 years ago, as well as my latest update about what's going on with me with these of the said collectible stuffs based from this particular franchise in general.

Well, there's nothing difference between what I could say since I made my last titular article about them, because I still simply can't even afford those of my favorite figures that I wanted since more than 5 years ago... Even if I occasionally watch any old review videos about them, including that one YouTuber who sent me those of my favorite Plants vs. Zombies figures for free (yes, but that's not the one that I keep explaining about), but I still couldn't even resist about how I still miss those of my missing figures, even if I ever asked to him about why (yes, he clearly had them in most of his videos, but he obviously didn't have any extra figures for themselves)... I mean, it would be better if I should get those of the said figures by myself, right? No. The fact if I do feel broke these days, and considering those figures are even harder to come by makes the matters even worse than ever, which causing me forced not for getting any of those things forever, no matter how old I am... Besides, imagine if I recklessly purchasing any of them (no matter if it's still NIB or used), it would cost insanely expensive for paying them including international shipping fees and taxes for obvious reasons from anywhere from the US or Canada to our country, unless if there's an online marketplace who "bridges" this in order to buy them with ease, but I highly doubt it after that particular marketplace that was once existed in our country, but then it got shut down due to various issues that I already explained in my previous titular articles of the similar topic.

The fact the manufacturer and distributors who mass produced and mass distributed those figures were no longer in production respectively, it also made the matters even worse as well. In case you wondering about this, I ever e-mailed the company who made and distributed them from few years ago, but of course if they clearly stated if they are no longer mass producing and mass distributing them anymore... Sure, I can casually search about what's left about them on any international online marketplaces, but I simply won't dare to buy it, even if there are most of the missing ones that I keep talking about there. So, there's no absolute way to acquire them, unless there's another sudden miracle that might happen to myself in the future like what that particular YouTuber did to me by simply offering most of his figures that I wanted by sending them to me for free, albeit it wasn't all of them that are literally on my bucket list, yet they weren't based from standard Plants vs. Zombies games that I know (even though he also sent most of them that were based from the standard games anyway). Not being like a typical selfish person in order to do this repetitively, but this is the actual truth if I still couldn't even able to get those anyway, even though this may looks and sounds so silly for you (unless you already get them since the first days right after they mass distributed them).

🆗, back to the latest update about what's going on between myself and those of my Plants vs. Zombies collectible stuffs in general. Well, after a while I didn't receive my Plants vs. Zombies collectible stuffs since those days before the dreadful pandemic times began, I recently got these of my brand 🆕 set of these figures that looks exactly like these:

Definitely not the most wanted one like what I explained earlier, but at least I got some fun with these of my newly acquired figures. It's basically the same figure sets that I got from very early of the dreadful 2020 (packed in surprise eggs containing both plant and zombie figures). I acquired these particular figures from an online marketplace from one of the most popular online marketplaces that is available in my country where I'm living in, and it costed me around 12 bucks for all of them by paying them using a cash-on-delivery system (thank goodness, that was definitely my best way to buy them without wasting my bank account's credit all the way to the zero). Yes, these were clearly another one of those figures that I got straight directly from a seller in China, and it took just a week for shipping from China to our country. After I got some notifications from the marketplace where I bought these from, a random courier delivered the mail bag that contained them inside. Anyway, the characters are:

  • Sunflower and Flag Zombie,
  • Fume-shroom and Peasant Zombie (Dark Ages),
  • Cactus and Neon Zombie (Neon Mixtape Tour), and
  • Cob Cannon and a zombie from one of the worlds that exclusively exists in Chinese version of Plants vs. Zombies 2.

Well, there you have it for yet another one of my messages associated by how come if I still couldn't able to get those of my favorite figures that were existed from 5 years ago, until the way how I was able to get some of their alternatives from themselves like those figures that I recently acquired there... Would you believe it about how come if I kept making one of these articles like this? Well, this is still definitely the prime reason about why I still don't acquire those figures that I always highlight them, specifically for those plant figures that I also referred them in my previous titular articles about this since my first one. I feel like I'd love to rant it over this for the umpteenth time, except I only said that for just once in this particular article for time reasons (yes, just that one word on very beginning of this particular article). I don't think at the end of the day, there will be another one of those unexpected miracle that might happen in the future in relation for those figures that I kept showcasing them for umpteenth times. As for how the time passes since those figures were newly sold everywhere in the western part of the world until how the manufacturers decided to stop producing and distributing them to those of the specific toy companies that used to license this particular franchise, I obviously feel the pain about how come if I still couldn't able to get them in my hands.

As for how I recently got those figures from China like what I clearly showed there, I don't think if I will make my fifth installment of "My Plants vs. Zombies collection" series. Unlike what I did in my previous four parts, I already found a lot of difficulties about which toys and figures that I will get soon. It's because I literally have no clue about which toy and figure sets that I will get, mainly due to the fact majority of the ones that they usually sell on every single online marketplaces are the ones that are intended for kids anyway. Again, if I recklessly buy certain figures like what I clearly stated earlier, it would cost insanely expensive in order to do so, including shipping fee and taxes...... So, that concludes about how I still couldn't able to get those figures that I always wanted for so long, even though they are a lot harder to come by these days. I don't think if I will make yet another one of these articles for the umpteenth time again, although I do understand about how come it they decided to fully "axe" the production of those figures, even before the dreadful pandemic times began. Even then, I always wanted all of those of the said figures that I keep spotting them many times about, yet they aren't based from the standard Plants vs. Zombies games that I know since my first time playing it from a decade ago. Well then, I think that's pretty much it for what I could say to this due to the fact I always totally sick for explaining this so many times, and hopefully you will learn the lesson related to this particular article.

Am I only the one who have K'NEX Plants vs. Zombies figures in my country? (ID)

So, it's been a while since I have messing around with my entire modern day collection of Plants vs. Zombies toys and figures. Based on my certain posts about them that I obviously posted before, I'm gonna spot one of the toy brands, which is the K'NEX ones, yet again. I said that because I already explained about why I bought those figures instead of cheapo casual toys or figures that I can get them way easier in general, but this time, it's time to brag myself about am I only the one who actually have those particular figures in my whole country (Indonesia). Well, not so much... But I have to explain this anyway.

Started off by a throwback about somebody who claimed to have K'NEX Plants vs. Zombies by commenting them directly in those design images of the plant figures on it's own Facebook page of the whole Plants vs. Zombies game itself. I found those comments during I obviously wandering around in Facebook for quite a lot in those days. He/she said if they actually had almost all of them exactly like in those images, except for the transparent dark green Bonk Choy and Snow Pea... From what I checked to his/her account, he/she lived somewhere in West Java, Indonesia (probably he/she lives in Cirebon or Karawang, but I didn't know). However, after I checked his/her whole account, there were no actual pictures of them at all, which meant he/she actually didn't have any of them at all. I didn't even know if he/she did some mini hoax to them, but yeah... That's how I actually discovered him/her if he/she clearly didn't have them at all, conclusively.

Another throwback about this (even though it's irrelevant to this post) is the fact there were other people who have at least one or few figures of them, but they weren't live in the exact same country, preferably in entire of the whole continent of Asia. Here are fine examples for them:

  • A toy collector Instagrammer from Thailand had 4 K'NEX Plants vs. Zombies Series 1 figures that he obtained them back in 2014. Those figures are Sunflower, Bonk Choy, Basic Zombie, and Mummy Zombie.
  • A guy from Malaysia (from what I checked his account) captured his children playing some Plants vs. Zombies during a trip somewhere in Hong Kong, spotted his K'NEX Plants vs. Zombies Peashooter in it that they brought into there.
  • A female teenager from South Korea had 2 of those, which are just good old Peashooter and Sunflower duo, respectively.
  • A Vietnamese teenager had a box of K'NEX Plants vs. Zombies Series 2, yet he also opened all 8 blind bags that came with them. Although this one did count, he actually did this in the US due to the fact he actually got them from Walmart from what I asked through comments in his YouTube video of it. Unfortunately though, he deleted his video of it later on.
  • A small family in China opened 3 K'NEX Plants vs. Zombies Series 1 blind bags, which were all Bonk Choys.
Majority of them that they got in their hands were occurred before I got few of mine, except few of them. As of the one that I own, here are my throwbacks to each of the time during I obtained them per each of the figures or sets:
  • First, in September of 2015, I obtained the whole set of K'NEX Plants vs. Zombies Series 2 from e-Bay for 60 bucks. There was a missing piece on one of those figures, which was the Snow Pea's stem was missing, yet the blind bag that lurked it was simply stapled.
  • Then, in April of 2016, I obtained a K'NEX Plants vs. Zombies Series 1 Sunflower from e-Bay for roughly 40 bucks.
  • Then, in July of the same year during I obtained that Sunflower figure, I also obtained another K'NEX Plants vs. Zombies Series 1 blind bag, except it was the Bloomerang one for roughly similar amount of price as the Sunflower.
  • Then, in May of 2017, I obtained a K'NEX Plants vs. Zombies Series 3 Fire Peashooter from e-Bay for roughly 35 bucks.
  • And then, in  October of 2017, I obtained yet another K'NEX Plants vs. Zombies Series 1 blind bag that contained my most favorite plant among the other 4 figures that I wanted, the Peashooter. I paid roughly for 43 bucks for it.
  • Lastly, in November of 2018, I got a special giveaway gift for FREE from a popular toy reviewer YouTuber nicknamed SquirrelStampede, who gifted me 4 K'NEX Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2 Series 4 blind bags, which are all plants (Peashooter [the one that I wanted the most], Rose, Kernel Corn, and Citron). He also sent me 6 K'NEX Plants vs. Zombies Series 3 blind bags too, which one of them contained another Fire Peashooter inside.
In conclusion, am I only the one who actually have those particular figures in my whole country (Indonesia)? Obviously yes. The fact I'm only the one who actually own several figures of them (mainly for the plants that I wanted the most) makes the huge difference between me and typical people who also owns casual Plants vs. Zombies toy figures that they have, but I don't think if I eventually deserve a thing called "Nobel Peas Prize" achievement for good, based from somebody who commented in one of K'NEX Plants vs. Zombies reviews by the same YouTuber who gifted me certain of Plants vs. Zombies figures that I have now... I know if my country doesn't have a lot of Plants vs. Zombies fans like I do because majority of the people in my country just obsessed by anything based on their latest trends, such as popular modern mobile games (for example, Mobile Legends, Lords Mobile, Free Fire, Genshin Impact, and so on), Korean TV shows and music videos that they also obsessed recently, and other stuffs that they casually enjoy as well. I know, everybody has their own obsession and hobbies, so it's fair to see anything about those with my actual eyes in here, including me with bunch of my Plants vs. Zombies stuffs that I own, or even my fellow fan lovers with their obsessed franchises per each of them too, so it doesn't matter for me about them anyway... So there you have it for yet another explanation post about messing around with my modern day Plants vs. Zombies collection, preferably spotted on one of the toy brands that I already explained in here, and thanks for reading this post.
