maintaining the legacy with my old Plants vs. Zombies toys and mini figures...

It's been a long time since I featured all of those old Plants vs. Zombies toys and mini figures that I own for years, so it's time to explain about how I maintain the legacy specifically with themselves. Since I do live in the country where it has really high humidity yet I constantly "play" with them instead of keeping them in their storage or display, resulting by how come if most of them suddenly had some wear and tear on them. Without further ado, let me explain about those figures that already suffered from the way how they withstand against it.

Before I begin, I exclude most of those Chinese mini figure sets that I also own, since they seem to survive just okay overall since I purchased them. As for the ones that they suffer from those issues apart from the fact they already accumulated quite amount of dusts on majority of them, here are my examples about them:

A. 2013 KFC Plants vs. Zombies toys (ID)

All 3 plants (such as Peashooter on Pumpkin, Cabbage-pult, and ðŸŒŧ) do share their own issue where their own black eyes are easy to be erased by simply touching them any objects in the slightest touch. Because of this, I had to DIY fix one of them with the combination of the black marker and correction pen, though it obviously make the appearance of it looks slightly uglier than how it should. This also applied to the green eyebrows on the Cabbage-pult, but since I already learned the lesson with the exact same toy that I borrowed from one of my old friend's house in 2014, I have to be very careful when it comes to "playing" with it in general.

As for the ðŸŒŧ, the bottom part of her stem already has some light stressing marks on it due to the way how I tried to connect her stem to the original base, since it's so loose every single time.

B. 2014 KFC Plants vs. Zombies 2 toys (ID)

All of them do seem to survive just reasonably okay, except for both of these moments that I mentioned here:

  • I lost the "ðŸ”Ĩ" disc projectile that originally came with the Snapdragon, and
  • I broke the inner workings of that iconic walkable Zombie toy since roughly a decade ago

Even with both of those aforementioned moments, but all of them still survive just like so, except with slight wear on each of them.

C. K'NEX Plants vs. Zombies

This one is possibly the weirdest one when it specifically comes to react against our country's high humidity. The fact I also "play" with most of those plant characters that I always wanted back then, they led to their weird issues which most of them couldn't able to fix them by myself. Apart from their original pieces that were loose overtime, here are more examples about the issues themselves:

  • Weird darkening issues on their own original paints, specifically occurred on certain plant characters with solid plastics like Peashooter, Snow Pea, Cabbage-pult, and Garden Warfare/Garden Warfare 2 version of Peashooter. Unfortunately, those aren't fixable unless if I have to bring each of them to the paint workshop in order to make them "bright" again.
  • Just like those of my old 2013 KFC Plants vs. Zombies toys, most of them do have their own similar issues where their own original prints are easy to be erased with the slightest touch from any objects (for example, ðŸŒŧ's face, Peashooter or Snow Pea's black eyes, Bloomerang's face and his own boomerang's petal accents, ðŸŒđ's mouth [and possibly her eyes], and so on).
  • Some light stressing marks that already occurred on most of them, such as ðŸŒŧ's stem, ðŸŒđ's feet, and so on.
  • Cracks on the bottom "leafy" part of my Fire Peashooter, since it clearly made using a translucent plastic, therefore it's partially hard to mount it on any of those Lego or any of those popular Chinese building block plates with ease anymore.
  • Even if I saved my Kernel ðŸŒ― on the storage (for this case, a small jar), it strangely has some tiny bit of black spots on it's own yellow ðŸŒ― parts (possibly some sort of mold spots, especially for his head).

Because of all of those issues, I had to DIY fix it to most of them depending on how difficult I could able to restore each of their appearance, otherwise I just simply accepted their fate (since all of them are obviously nowhere to be possible to search each of their identical replacements in case if I accidently break or lose each of them, even if they're already flawed to begin with since they produced them from an unknown factory in China).

D. Other figures...

That one cheap static Plants vs. Zombies 2 Grave Buster mini figure that I got since 2014, it has it's own issue where it suddenly separated both the top part and bottom part of it due to the fact I accidently dropped it to the floor multiple times, though it's still easy to be fixable by simply gluing both of those pieces together.

Well then, there you have it for the way how I maintain the legacy with those of my following old Plants vs. Zombies toys and mini figures that I particularly have for years. If you have your own story related to this, be sure to write your own short story in the comments section if you're able to. Anyway, that's basically it from what I could particularly say over this, and as always, thanks for reading this exact article.

The unseen Plants vs. Zombies collectible items...

Well, it's time to find out on anything around my own Plants vs. Zombies collectible items, which majority of them that I have nowadays are toys and figures. However, I also own several of them that I almost didn't feature them on camera, yet it also the ultimate reason about how come if I only feature just plant characters in vast majority of the pictures that I took since almost a decade since I got my very first actual toys and figures from themselves.

Actually, there's not much else that I could particularly say about those items though, because almost all of those sets that I'm talking about are mostly the zombie characters that I somehow don't bother to show them for various reasons. Even though I only mentioned just three of them in here, but I'm going to tell you about the current state about those sets in general. Those three sets are:

A. 5 K'NEX Plants vs. Zombies Series 2 blind bags...

You probably remember that time where I wasted a lot of bucks over these of the exact K'NEX Plants vs. Zombies blind bags that I purchased from e-Bay from almost a decade ago. For some reason, I purchased the 8 packs of all characters from it instead of just focusing on one of the plant characters that I always wanted the most among all of them (for this case, it was the Snow Pea). However, after I opened 3 of them (which were Cabbage-pult, Snow Pea, and Infi-nut), I somehow regretted it by not opening the remaining 5 blind bags that are still sealed until today. Because of that, I simply left them intact inside the small cardboard box, and taped the whole box itself with LOTS of duct tapes around the whole box itself for their extra layer of protection. I was once put these blind bags on sale in one of the local online marketplaces in my country, but nobody would purchase it anyway.

(this was taken right before I opened one of them, hence why there are 6 of these)

B. 6 K'NEX Plants vs. Zombies Series 3 blind bags...

Still from the K'NEX section, except these were obtained for 🆓 from that one legendary YouTuber who sent me these blind bags and 3 K'NEX Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2 Series 4 blind bags to me (which I obviously opened them already, which consisted of stock plant character trio from that particular shooter game per each of the blind bags, in addition of that loose Peashooter)... Just like how I treated with those of the remaining K'NEX Plants vs. Zombies Series 2 blind bags, I didn't even open any of them too, except for the one that had Fire Peashooter inside for simply comparing between it and my old one. Again, I was once put these blind bags on sale in one of the local online marketplaces in my country, but nobody would purchase it anyway. Even if I was once attempted to offer my own free giveaway to some other Plants vs. Zombies fans online through social media's direct chat message (or even some random geeks online), but it still didn't occur yet due to their procrastinations per each of them.

C. 12 Chinese Plants vs. Zombies mini figure surprise eggs...

If those plant figures that came from each of these plastic surprise eggs are exist in my collection, obviously each of the surprise eggs also comes with each of the zombie figures that are exist alongside with each of the plant characters too. For some reason, I didn't bother to assemble all of those zombie figures though, despite I just clearly wasted my bucks over these... Simple as that, and no offense specifically about these ones though.

So, there you have it for those of the unseen Plants vs. Zombies collectible items that I have laying around somewhere, with an exception for those that were once existed on my collection, but then I gave them to another enthusiast... Don't ask me about how come if I still left most of them inside their original packaging, because I have so many technical difficulties for directly answering it about why, apart from the fact I suddenly don't like most of those characters from most of them. If you have your experience when it comes to keeping those figures in similar fashion to those, feel free to share your own story about it in the comments section if your memory still serves it right. That's it for what I could particularly say about it, and as always, thanks for reading this specific article.

My Plants vs. Zombies collection: Memories before 2013...

This ain't my filler or my main series of my famous Plants vs. Zombies collection that I'm currently enjoying these days with all of my collectible items that I own, because the fact I still don't receive any of my new acquisitions about them since 2 years ago... However, let me tell you about my short archive story about how I actually started enjoying Plants vs. Zombies franchise in general, although I think I already made some of my article partially about it from around 6 years ago. You may remember about one of my very first picture of my entire collection about them in 2013 that looks like this?

with Angry Birds too, hey?

Yes, although I also used to enjoy Angry Birds too in these days, but let me explain it about everything before I took this picture, preferably from around a year before (or two, if I remembered them correctly). So, here is my actual nostalgic story about how I actually started enjoying this particular franchise that somehow I almost able to do it for almost a decade later, albeit I literally express them with completely different but much better way (as of late of 2014 until nowadays, but getting out of control since 2019 until nowadays as well).

First off, of course I obviously played original Plants vs. Zombies on my old ðŸ’ŧ that I used to have in those days by beating the whole Adventure mode and certain other game modes (such as Mini-games, Puzzle, and Survival game modes excluding the Endless ones), which looked and sounded so normal to me. That also shared as well with Angry Birds series in one of my bad Android ðŸ“ąs that I used to have, which I also beat a lot of levels in each of the game series as well (ranging from the 2009 original, Seasons, Rio, and somehow Space... but not at all for Star Wars series, Go, and the sequel of the original game)... Okay, back to the Plants vs. Zombies part. Yes, I kept replaying all of the game modes on the original game itself numerous times, except in those days, I never expected to do something out of the box from it by collecting any of the toys or figures from this particular franchise at all, until somewhere few months later right after I initially played the game since square one,  I was able to express it for a bit by accessing on the internet in order to search my favorite plant characters about them, although the original game was the only game that was existed in those days. This wasn't an easy task to do that, because I kept struggled to do it on my bad old Android devices that I used to have, especially for one of them that kept crashing the browser by itself for no reason (including the original game itself that I ever installed on that thing), and I searched a bit of them too with the only support of mobile data connection that lasted about several moments until it got emptied out entirely (unless I was able to discover them way better using Wi-Fi from public places or visiting an internet center)...  Until I was able to download my very first image about them, and it was this one!

Yes, it is clearly a Split Pea from the original Plants vs. Zombies game. Don't ask me about why I enjoyed this particular plant in those days, it's because I used to virtually stare at the image of this particular plant in my old Android devices that I used to have in certain situations about how I kept doing so sometimes. Not only just that particular image of it, I even able to download even more images about them, including someone's fan arts (albeit they were so pixelated because the fact I downloaded them directly from Google without opening each of them for details). With all of my images or pictures about them that I plucked them off from internet, for some reason I wanted to "enjoy" them by printing them out by bringing one of my Android devices to one of the local photo labs in my hometown in order to print them off as an actual "images" for them. It would be better if I would request by printing them into stickers instead, but I just stupidly requested by printing them into a normal photo papers.

With all of those printed, I finally able to enjoy them IRL, even though that wasn't suppose to be the way about how I enjoyed them without virtually looking at my old Android devices again, or even my old ðŸ’ŧ that I had at those times by playing it or looking at the images about them too. Things about those were getting better; due to the fact I used to "brag" those in front of most of my old friends during I used to study back in my old primary school along with them too, although most of my old friends would know about how to play it properly, but not nearly skilled like I do. Not only the fact I also used to "brag" them like so, I ever brought those for certain stuffs that I couldn't remember what they were, until most of them received bit of damage on them for sure (due to I obviously didn't protect any of them by either putting them into photo album or any other protective kinds). This kind of pure enjoyment between me with this particular franchise kept resuming until 2013, but I still never touch any actual Plants vs. Zombies figures yet. Until May of the aforementioned year itself where I finally found my first yet my most memorable Plants vs. Zombies toys that were released from KFC in our country, that was literally the time where I finally able to completely "switch over" from collecting my photos about those characters to collecting actual toys and figures about them, albeit I did that just a year later (yes, I still hanging around with those photos instead until I got my actual toys and figures of them).

Well, there you have it for my short story about how I actually started enjoying Plants vs. Zombies franchise in general, even though I still somehow left anything about them until today. As of bonus related to this, here are more of my short stories about them:

  • During the time I still didn't play Plants vs. Zombies for very first time, I stared at some of my old friends playing a Wall-nut Bowling mini-game on a PC in a teacher room of my old primary school in around of 2011 (I think).
  • I ever visited an internet center in order to browse tips and strategy guides about the game itself in Plants vs. Zombies Fandom for very first time.
  • One of my old friends in my old primary school offered me to borrow his cheap NOAC (NES on a chip) handheld console that contained unofficial NES port of the original game itself. I played it for a bit, and of course I couldn't stand with the horrible music itself that kept looping endlessly until I had to mute it.

So, that concludes about how I officially started enjoying Plants vs. Zombies franchise in general, starting off from how I obviously beat the whole levels and game modes in the original game itself, then followed by how I initially expressed them out from it too, albeit that was honestly the weirdest one that I ever done so far until I got my actual toys and figures from themselves later on. Even though I do have a plenty of those toys and figures that I own, of course I still save some of what's left from what I've done from then (although majority of them were gone), and I just did making even more of the "things" like so later on too to "recreate" it back. Anyway, that's particularly it from what I could say to this archival moments with them, and as always, thanks for reading this article........ wait...

Actual topic about this aside, but how about Angry Birds?! Well, I just gave all of my Angry Birds egg chocolate container things to one of my family's relatives. Simple as that, even though I obviously don't hate it anyway. Yes, I do have one of the Angry Birds game series that is installed in my current ðŸ“ą, but I just rarely play it BTW.

Wild Plants vs. Zombies stuffs in your hometown...

Random Plants vs. Zombies toys that I found in a local supermarket nearest from my dad's main workplace... Also, my Instagram watermark tho...😁

Well, yet another fun with my Plants vs. Zombies stuffs... But this time, I will tell you about my story about wild Plants vs. Zombies stuffs in my hometown. I know if my hometown doesn't have a lot of Plants vs. Zombies fans like I do, but I did encounter few wild stuffs about them. For example, another fan like I am but completely different ages between me and themselves, wild stickers that sticks on a vehicle, cheap stuffs, or even some toys of them being on sale locally. Without further ado with them, here are my list about wild Plants vs. Zombies stuffs in my hometown.

Before that, I'm not gonna tell you again about those KFC Plants vs. Zombies toys in one of my old friend's house that I featured many times before, so I'll skip that because those toys already got their bad fate after I borrowed one of them for fun in 2014... Anyway, here are my list about aforementioned Plants vs. Zombies stuffs in my hometown, right away:

  • Back in primary school, I borrowed one of those cheap NOAC (NES on-a-chip) handheld consoles that had homebrew NES bootleg Plants vs. Zombies on it from one of my old friends.
  • One of my family's relative told me if she saw a random student from a school nearest from my old house with a picture of a Cabbage-pult stuck on his or her bags. Couldn't tell who it was yet which Plants vs. Zombies game that featured it, because she just simply told him or her to me indirectly, and that's literally it.
  • A sticker of regular Pirate Zombie stuck on someone's car.
  • Somebody who visited my hometown captured his cheap PVC Conehead Zombie figure in one of the beaches of my hometown, posted it on his Instagram account.
  • During I was out with my dad to buy some breakfast meals, I met a children who also a big fan of Plants vs. Zombies like I do, but different way to express them, thanks to my helmet with my Plants vs. Zombies Peashooter stickers on it that he discovered if I also a big fan of the Plants vs. Zombies franchise. While I express it by collecting toys and figures, meanwhile for him... He expresses it by drawing certain Plants vs. Zombies characters.
  • Recently, I encountered few of cheap PVC Plants vs. Zombies figures that was being on a sale at a local supermarket, nearest from my dad's main workplace. Those figures are Sap-fling, Lily Pad, and some random zombies from Sky City, a world in Chinese version of Plants vs Zombies 2. They costed around IDR 17.500, based from the price tag stuck on one of the figures... Unfortunately though, after I saw those last time then I visited that place again, those figures were sold, yet the supermarket has changed their layout of the display shelves, especially for the section where those Plants vs. Zombies figures used to be.
As of those PVZ Plants vs. Zombies figures that was being on sale at aforementioned supermarket itself, here are more of my pictures to themselves, including the first one that I featured above earlier:
So there you have it for all of the wild Plants vs. Zombies stuffs that I encountered them in my own hometown. Hope you can enjoy this short story-based post that I made to the aforementioned stuffs themselves... Anyway, that's it for what I can say to this post, and as always, thanks for reading.

My Plants vs. Zombies collection (part 4)

It's been a long time for no any of my most demanded series of my toy or figure collection based on my favorite game... Anyway, welcome to new series of my Plants vs. Zombies collection. Like the first three parts, this part will be featuring some of my Plants vs. Zombies that I got from several of the online stores or some other sort of the places where I got these toys from my favorite game. So, before I show all of the toys or collectible stuffs on this part, here are the toys that were featured on the previous part (Part 3):
All of my Plants vs. Zombies collection from part 3
And here's how all of my Plants vs. Zombies collection across 3 parts merged in one picture:
All of my Plants vs. Zombies collection that I collected through 3 parts, such as Part 1 (original), Part 2, and Part 3
So, just like the last parts, I will show some of my latest Plants vs. Zombies's acquisitions from anywhere else. Anyway, here are the things that I got on this part here:

1. K'NEX Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2, Series 4

a. Peashooter

The Peashooter itself, followed by the original and the Fire Peashooter from the main series of Plants vs. Zombies games on the background...
Yes! Good way to start this part of my entire collection by getting this one! It is a Peashooter from the Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2. However, the style of this resembles from the both original game and that sequel, so it doesn't matter. Fortunately, I got this for free from the popular YouTube toy reviewer who also reviewed any of those K'NEX Plants vs. Zombies sets just like several that I do have here (can you guess who it is)... By asked it to him with many reasons that caused me couldn't get this one in a chat of a social media with him, he sent it as a gift for my appreciations collecting these things here. Anyway, back to the plant itself. Despite I don't have the console and the game itself, I still can get this plant, though. It came straight out from it's own blind bag and no instructions, simply packed in a transparent bag, unlike the others. So, here are advantages and disadvantages of it:

Advantages:

Design looks pretty cool, and sensible as it's own promotional pictures of it.

Disadvantages:

  • The watermark on it still has a copyright from 2014 (probably it refers to the K'NEX itself).
  • The connection between the stem and the base itself is loose, in fact it's a bit worse than the original styles like the ones from Series 1, 2 or 3.
  • The connection between the stem and both of it's own "pea pod" arms are also loose  like crazy as well.

b. Rose

The Rose itself, next to a Peashooter...
Not really a fan of this one, but eventually, he also sent this one as well during it was packed inside the blind bag. The style of this resembles from the Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 too. Not much I can say about it, I opened it just for an add-on figures only. So, here are advantages and disadvantages about it:

Advantages:

Design looks pretty cool, and sensible as it's own promotional pictures of it.

Disadvantages:

The connection between the body and both of it's own arms are loose.

c. Kernel Corn

The Kernel Corn itself... followed by other 2 plants on the back...
Not particularly a fan of this one too, but it has the same reason as what I mentioned above... The style of this resembles from the Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2, so don't be confused with a lobbed shot plant with almost exact name in the original Plants vs. Zombies games. Not much I can say about it, I opened it just for an add-on figures only. So, here are advantages and disadvantages about it:

Advantages:

  • Design looks pretty cool, and sensible as it's own promotional pictures of it.
  • The stem on this plant does connect very well to it's own base without any DIY repairs, unlike Peashooter.

Disadvantages:

The brown husk on the back of it's own head doesn't mount well, it keeps poking out for a little bit from it's own hole.

d. Citron

The Citron itself
Again, not particularly a fan of this one too, but it has the same reason as what I mentioned in the Rose one... The style of this resembles from the Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2, not Plants vs. Zombies 2. Not much I can say about it, I opened it just for an add-on figures only. So, here are advantages and disadvantages about it:

Advantages:

Design looks pretty cool, and sensible as it's own promotional pictures of it.

Disadvantages:

  • Takes a lot of strength to connect those 4 legs together in their own ball joints on that connector between the body and those legs themselves.
  • Pretty difficult to tell the difference on those 4 leaves on the top of it's own body, because their connectors on the bottom of those leaf pieces and the holes almost have the same size, except for the front one, which is a bit easier than the rest.

2. "Sermoido" Lego-based Plants vs. Zombies figures

Several of Lego-based Plants vs. Zombies figures...
It's been a while since I got those K'NEX Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2 Series 4 for FREE from a very famous YouTuber who reviewed them on his channel back in November of 2018, so I decided to buy these alternative Lego-based Plants vs. Zombies figures in January of 2020. Purchased them from one of local online shops, and I got it from a Chinese seller, yet I ordered the one that has complete 8 surprise eggs contains different plants and zombies. They are packed inside their own surprise eggs, and each of the package contained one plant and one zombie inside. Here are list of the plants and the zombies that are packed in the batch itself:

Plants:

  • Peashooter (looks like a Repeater to me, except without eyebrows)
  • Fire Peashooter (again, just like the regular one)
  • Cabbage-pult
  • Melon-pult
  • Winter Melon
  • A.K.E.E.
  • Chomper
  • Coconut Cannon

Zombies:

  • Mummy Zombie*
  • Pirate Zombie*
  • Cowboy Zombie*
  • Future Zombie*
  • Cave Zombie
  • Big Wave Beach Zombie*
  • Disco Jetpack Zombie
  • Relic Hunter Zombie
* means it has 2 or 3 certain accessories like flag, cone, and bucket

Advantages:

  • Design for both plants and zombies look decent, and worth to collect for the price and the time about how they exist on these days.
  • Most of the zombie figures do have their own extra accessories, such as flag, cone, hat, and the bucket, unlike K'NEX ones did (only have just cone or hat in each of the respective zombie figures that they packed in their own package).
  • The way how the shooting plants (such as Peashooter, Fire Peashooter, and Coconut Cannon) shoots projectiles quite easier than the K'NEX ones did. They also have different kinds of shooting projectiles as well (being the stick looking projectiles at that, rather than just balls).

Disadvantages:

  • Sometimes it doesn't want to connect two pieces together with ease, especially for most of the plants.
  • They do include stickers for decorating one of the plants and all of the zombies... Which means, you must manually put the stickers on their respective parts of themselves.
  • Unlike K'NEX ones which you can mount most of the plants in either classic 2x2 Lego studs or + pattern Lego studs, you can only mount them in classic 2x2 Lego studs, and it's being the dead-on at that, because obviously you must place them with force in order to mount on them properly. This trait also happens with zombie figures as well.

More reasons about why I bought K'NEX Plants vs. Zombies...

"Still, any YouTube videos of them are my most demanding things that I ever enjoyed in my lifestyle with my PVZ collection... I already know if they aren't that good quality, but one of videos on YouTube (especially for ...'s [name of that popular YouTuber who reviewed them]) got over 25 million views which made me super impressed..." Me from my main Instagram
Ugh, you aren't gonna believe it... It's time for more of my points of what I did on my post entitled "Reason why I bought K'NEX Plants vs. Zombies..."... This time, I will gonna share you about it way more throughout than the original post of me with those Plants vs. Zombies toy brand that is very popular in the west... Since there are some flaws on this Plants vs. Zombies toy brand from what I experienced on most of the ones that I obtained, I'll include them in here as well. So, here are more reasons about why I bought K'NEX Plants vs. Zombies...
First off, you may remember the Watching videos of them point on that original post of me with them? Well, if you're familiar with that, yes... I thought you may remember my statement on that point that I wrote on that, like this:
"Despite I wasn't expecting before if K'NEX Plants vs. Zombies ttoys was the good alternate of state of the art Plants vs. Zombies toys, it turned out it's a very nice toys to collect them all, unless you have two or more person to own them though..."
Well, turned out if K'NEX Plants vs. Zombies toys are also my main things to collect in my Plants vs. Zombies collection (especially for most of the plants). Doesn't matter how my country only have those cheap Plants vs. Zombies toys that are available (such as popper shooting toys, generic PVC toys, and some crappy, garbage Lego-based toys of the game itself), I always choose this one for that reason. I keep watching YouTube review videos of them by various toy collector, commenting them (especially for the ones that I wanted), and most of the users replied me with certain words. You may ask about this point like this: "How about you watching videos of K'NEX Plants vs. Zombies on YouTube these days?" Well, not much difference between from what I commented about them first time back in 2014 until now. Although K'NEX released few of their Plants vs. Zombies blind bag series and building sets, it doesn't matter, I keep commenting on them, especially for my favorite characters from there. I also do so on other social medias as well, such as Instagram, but it's rarely seen that much compared to YouTube for obvious reasons. Unless I search certain users who have them, but still counts as a very hard task to search them, so. On the other hand though, for YouTube, there are lot of videos of them by various YouTubers, but only few of them that got so many views compared to the others. In conclusion, I keep watching YouTube videos of them, and turned out these Plants vs. Zombies toys are also my main things to collect in my Plants vs. Zombies collection as for now.
(This picture belongs to somebody who sold it on e-Bay, and now it's unavailable anymore)
Then, another reason about why I'm doing so it's because their trend in their old days. I didn't address this reason in my original post of me with them, so I'm gonna share it right now... So, back during I was searching about my favorite Plants vs. Zombies collection in both YouTube and few random online shops, then I came across those things. I was like, "That would be cool if I own those K'NEX Plants vs. Zombies toys, especially for those characters" Well, I did, but not in a good way to start collecting them... Remember those K'NEX Plants vs. Zombies Series 2 blind bags that I obtained back in 2015? If yes, I obtained them back then due to I was totally impressed by those reviews of them on YouTube before. Also, remember those K'NEX Plants vs. Zombies Series 1 and 3 that I obtained back in 2016 to 2017? If yes, I obtained them back then with exact same reason.  You may ask like this related to this point: "How about bootleg Lego-based Plants vs. Zombies toys? Do you enjoy them due to their trend?" Well, no. Especially for those ones that doesn't make any sense at all (I feel bad for kids who already owned those garbage nonsense, though). Because all of that, there's no way if I choose K'NEX Plants vs. Zombies over all of those garbage bootleg Lego-based Plants vs. Zombies toys (especially for those nonsense sets that nobody wants), unless I already got all of the ones that I wanted from this toy brand, then I decided to get some bootleg yet decent alternative toys.
Lastly, another reason about why I'm doing so... Just take a look of somebody who commented on one (or maybe some) of K'NEX Plants vs. Zombies videos on YouTube:
"These are so cool... loving the blind bags... and they're Plants vs Zombies, what more could you want?"
Exactly from what somebody commented like that on YouTube, what more could you want if K'NEX made their Plants vs. Zombies toys like so. In my opinion, yes, I always want them, because most of the characters are look pretty cool to me. Not a fanciest thing that I ever seen so far, but they're still looks pretty cool though... Again, based on one of my points on my original post of this, Watching videos on them, I watched several review videos on them on YouTube, and I collect them as much as possible. You may ask like this, "What's your favorite Plants vs. Zombies in this toy brand?" Well, mainly plants, especially for Peashooters. I like them, due to their pure design that they designed from there, and although they're made in China due to they sent their designs to some factories in China, it's still counts as a pretty cool toys for their small size. Since those are obviously Lego-based toys, you can mount them on Lego studs as their authenticity... Speaking about the zombies though, not much things that I can say about them; they're just basically a normal figure toys, rather than action toys like most of the plants do, which is also one bonus point that I like on them.
You may think if this Plants vs. Zombies toy brand doesn't have any disadvantages? Well, you're wrong, if you already checked most parts of My Plants vs. Zombies collection series. There are plenty amount of disadvantages in certain aspects from what I experienced on the ones that I have, such as quality on them, the way how I get them, and some more disadvantages related to this toy brand. So, here are summary of disadvantages of them:

1. General

  • The prices of them are sometimes expensive on international online shops, especially for building sets.
  • Some of the characters are repeated from one series to another. For instance, that Sunflower from Series 1 K'NEX Plants vs. Zombies blind bags are also featured again in Series 3 K'NEX Plants vs. Zombies blind bags.

2. The way how I get them

  • Unlike those cheap Chinese original Plants vs. Zombies toys, it's insanely difficult to me to get them from USA (or other countries that sells them too) to Indonesia, unless I have to keep buying it through a local online shops that connects to e-Bay.
  • Everytime I buy it, the shipping price and taxes are always expensive, depends on how big the sets are that are being on sale before I buy it. This also applies on other stuffs as well with exact same traits.

3. Quality

  • They feel really cheap. For instance, if I bent the Sunflower's stem too much, it leaves a white stressing mark to it.
  • Lot of goofs that are always occurred in every single toys, from minor to defective. The goofs about them are mentioned in here.
So, that's the more reasons about why I bought K'NEX Plants vs. Zombies. I know if those still doesn't exist yet in my country in general, but I always wanted them for multitude reasons that I mentioned before. Once again, that's it from what I can say about this Plants vs. Zombies toy brand... I don't think I will post my "Yet more reasons" about why I bought them, and thanks for reading this post.

My non fan'n'toy favorite things...

This time, instead of explaining about fans and toys like what I usually do, I'm going to explain the non fan and toy favorite things. In my childhood, I was used to liked several of things, but not from electric fans or toys either. So, here are the things that I did put them in my favorite lists that are other than just fans and toys:

1. Lip liner pencils

As you may see on this picture here, you may think these are normal colorful pencils. No! They're lip liner pencils. I used to be obsessed by these things exactly like in the picture, back when I was in kindergarten around 2006-2007. I and my mom visited a small cosmetic shop (which was one of my mom's friends who owned it, but now she passed away), then I found those pencils in several of the catalogs. It came in pink (or known as rose), red, sierra (or red, but slightly darker), and brown. Then I got the sierra and the brown one (I think), but I really wanted the red one so bad, but they were sold out. Despite of course they were used for cosmetic purposes, but I really wanted them because they look so interesting, compared to normal colorful pencils that I usually buy from the bookstores. Not satisfied enough, I drew and color several of the silly things with these pencils, sometimes. Again I wasn't satisfied enough, I cut some of the pictures of those products out from some of the catalogs that featured them, especially the ones that had some shiny effects on them, and I pasted them on one of my old diary books. From what I'd remember, my obsession against these things were lasted during mine ones lost, and so they didn't produce them anymore. Although there was an alternative of those, out from a generic cosmetic shop with different color and style, I used to be liked it too, but not as much as those lip liner pencils, until I quit liking those things out several months later. You may ask, "There were lot of types of pencils for cosmetic purposes, which one that is your favorite the most?". Well, I would say, those just in the picture, literally. Once again, I'm so impressed by how they look, and it does make huge difference compared to the others. I did also favorite some actual famous 2B pencil brands too, but it only lasted way shorter than those. Also, I'd remember in many years ago with those 2B pencils, I used to hate it in some of my friends like this way, "If you have it, I will throw it away" and that's it.

2. Windmills

Yep, as you may know from my old "and concept" YouTube channel that I made, I used to favorite the windmills too, there are some of my videos about those, uploaded with very slow connection back in those days. Now, in this video that I put it here, this is an example about how I started liking them, and collecting them. Although I did start collecting electric fans before by mounting 5 fans in my old house (back in around of 2008), I got interrupted by these. By the start, where I visited in some kind of a pond near the rice field in 2011, then I heard some ticking can noises from far away. And it turned out, those noises were actually from those windmills, made from some waste and bamboo. Then, I inspired them by recording them, and built several of mine in front of my house, and around my old neighborhood. So, here are the videos:
Yep, there we are! Some of them had a different placement of where the windmills were mounted on, and so for the weather, time, and basically everything on each of the videos. With accompany of one of my family's relative's members, I helped with him to make them and enjoying them in my old neighborhood. We made them with some waste as well, but with bit more modern aesthetic look for them, unlike the ones at the rice fields. Some of them had the blade were made out from the PVC pipes, few of them were made from metal, and of course, bunch of them were made with fan blades. As the time being, these were famous back in the day with all of those noise makers, until I gave up 2 years later, because several of them were taken down for some maintenance issues. I did reborn windmill madness for a quite in 2013 and 2014, but it didn't result as much as in 2011, because of course, electric fans has been taken place back in my existence, but WAY in wider range.

So, there you go for my non electric fan and toy favorite things. Turns out there are just two of them here, but it's okay. Anyway, hope you can enjoy them, and thanks for reading.

How I officially started liking electric fans...

I'm sure you may enjoyed my YouTube channel of electric fans that I recorded from various places like my own home, my family relatives, public places and such more. This time, I will explain about the main key of why I liked electric fans alot as for now, so here is the story about me with them.

It isn't my intention to love electric fans like now because while I was on my childhood, especially when I was 7 years old, I was scared by certain types of electric fans, such as industrial wall fans that are larger than 10", industrial stand fans are larger than 16", ceiling fans that wobbled badly, decorative ceiling fans with light kits, and some orbit ceiling fans that blow ton of air. The reason why I dodged certain types of electric fans, because I was afraid if I would think the fan would "chase" myself with their excellent air delivery, and for ceiling fans, I would think they will fall. However, those problems were gone after I got several of the fans that I owned in my old house.

By the start, I collected few fans like wall fans, exhaust fan, and several of mini ceiling fans around 2008 to 2009, mainly the oldie style mini ceiling fans in one room, which is in front part of my old house, except for the exhaust fan (installed on my room). I operated them everyday back in those days, until I got bored by them several months later. I collected those fans because I was inspired by my old helicopter toy, every time I played with it, (probably) I played it in upside down, much like a tiny ceiling fan, from what I'd remembered many years ago. Then, while I started to bored by those electric fans that I collected many years ago, I moved some of my mini ceiling fans to their bedrooms (just for their temporary installs), and I still fascinated by them, until they broke the blades down.

However, in 2010 towards to 2011, I stopped loving electric fans for a while due to I was so fascinated by certain stuffs no matter what kinds are, especially Upin & Ipin and homemade windmills. The reason why I stopped it due to I was mad by them, back when I adored Upin & Ipin quite a lot, not sure why. For the homemade windmills, I loved them too because during I visited on the fishing pond near a rice field, there were few homemade windmills through the rice field. So, few days later I visited the same rice field with several windmills in them, I decided to took some pictures and videos about them, and imitate them by making some of them out from the waste, and placed it around my old neighborhood. So, my favorite things around those good old times on this era were Upin & Ipin and homemade windmills, until I got bored by them in 2012, back when I started playing Plants vs. Zombies.

In 2013 until now, I decided to love my electric fans yet again, but in WAY wider range, because of course involves the internet, so I can meet everybody who also loving electric fans too around the world. At first, I searched some keywords about electric fans in generic way, but it turned out great when I was messing around with YouTube about them, especially for who collected them. Then, I decided to record my first video of electric fans, which were ceiling fans. So, here is my video of it:
Although I recorded them only about few seconds, but this is where my legend was born. Then, I took some more pictures and videos about them in various public places that I encountered on my hometown, uploaded them, and it turned out great! Other than those, I commented few guest videos of electric fans, mainly collectors, although I commented in the silly way in my earlier days of me with them, but again, it turned out great as well! Also, it looks even more greater if I can find my favorite types of electric fans, especially those vintage industrial ceiling fan with flat motor's bottom portion and "ice cream cone shaped" canopies that I found them around internet. Until now, I still loved electric fans though, but it depends on my parent's activities to visit certain public places that has some electric fans on them. One more question you may ask, how about everybody who liking electric fans too? Answer is, yes. So, I can't believe it if I'm not only the one who liking, and collecting electric fans as well.

So, there you have it, guys, this is how I officially started liking electric fans... Hope you enjoy it!

  24. Do you have the console to play Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare? If not, why?
  25. Do you have your Plants vs. Zombies's toy collector's competitors?

Answers:

  1. There were few of them, such as Doraemon, Crayon Sinchan, Tom & Jerry, several Walt Disney animations, Upin & Ipin, Shaun The Sheep, and Angry Birds.
  2. I'm not sure about all of them, but in Upin & Ipin, besides themselves, my favorite character was Fizy. However, in Angry Birds, my favorite characters was the yellow bird (a.k.a Chuck).
  3. It wasn't my decide to play this game. Like the other games that I ever played before, I didn't know how to play this game, and it turned out just great than the others.
  4. Yes, I did. In my primary school during a break time, I saw some of my old friends playing Plants vs. Zombies's mini-game Wall-nut Bowling on a computer in the teacher's room. Not only that, in somewhere else, I saw somebody played Plants vs. Zombies's mini-game Slot Machine as well, but I don't remember it anymore about the further information of it, or maybe it was just the same time as in my primary school. Also, I ever borrowed a fake console that has NES-on-a-chip architecture from one of my old friend's own, then I played a bootleg Plants vs. Zombies game there.
  5. At least 11 times.
  6. No, I'm not. Due to there was no internet in those days, I didn't hype that game though until I moved out from my old house.
  7. Those crappy Plants vs. Zombies pictures that I took them from internet, then I saved them on my flash drive, and I brought it to a photo shop. Simple as that.
  8. Lags and crashes.
  9. It wasn't my desire to collect those Plants vs. Zombies stuffs. Just like what I did on other franchises, yet they were cheaply made, I didn't know about why those are existed until I realized it later on.
  10. Check "This is what happens if KFC provided PvZ toys".
  11. Other than toys, yes it did. It was a Plants vs. Zombies Adventures on Facebook that got shut down in October of 2014. I was once played it, but I didn't play as often as the main game series due to lag almost all the time and horrible internet connection.
  12. Original game: It was my old Acer laptop, and my old crappy Advan T1Ci tablet. Sequel game: It was my old crappy Advan T1Ci tablet yet again.
  13. Other than that KFC commercial about those toys based on this game, again there was a smartphone commercial (probably) on the TV, featured Plants vs. Zombies 2 app inside. However, in my actual eyes, I rarely see it in here at all.
  14. The original trailer of the original game, and those Rfm vs. Games's Plants vs. Zombies's Zombies on Your Lawn audition failures.
  15. I'm not really sure, but those Jazwares's Plants vs. Zombies toys were my first YouTube videos of Plants vs. Zombies toys that I ever watched.
  16. Those Ancient Egypt figure set.
  17. You guessed it, K'NEX Plants vs. Zombies.
  18. Every peashooting plants are my most favorite. However, before those, I actually liked certain lobbed shot plants, which kinda silly until I realized it later on.
  19. Yes, really. I got spammed somewhere in YouTube in several videos of this game. Not only that, in my actual life, I also got bullied by certain person who doesn't like this game. And also, most of the person who doesn't like this game that I always play, they have fun about it that almost looks like this example: "Oh look, this dude has a X of Y playing Plants vs. Zombies while Z" and blah blah blah. In case you've wondering, X means object that has Y inside, Y means myself or anybody else, and Z, (no, it's not a term of a zombie like this game) means things that I or they will work with.
  20. Although this game is outclassed by those popular mobile games like Mobile Legends, Clash of Clans, and more, but I still play this game on my certain time to complete the Travel Log quests, leveling up plants, and much more, but in less time of the gameplay due to repetitive quests and other stuffs that I can't afford it with my real money at all.
  21. It was this:
  22. Peashooter from Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare, especially for his gestures.
  23. I'm not sure... But, my favorite one is Ultimate Battle, don't know why.
  24. No, I don't. Because it's so impossible to get them, as they cost so darn expensive.
  25. Well, yes, I do. There were few of them on YouTube, and the rest of them are on certain social medias.
