Social media platform abandonments...

Pretty sure if I do have several of my own social media accounts in each of their respective platforms that I own, ranging from my most well-known ones until most of the obscure ones that I made... Unfortunately, there are few of my accounts on each of their respective platforms that I simply abandoned them for certain reasons that caused I decided to leave them for good, unless I'm able to revisit them back after all these years. Without further ado, let me summarize about each of the social media accounts that I ever owned, but for some reason I simply abandoned them, but each of those social media accounts that I abandoned them are still present until today.

Note: This particular article DOESN'T explain about some of my accounts on certain platforms that I simply left them due to somebody blocked or terminated them for various reasons that causing them to do so deliberately on me, which they simply don't count in this anyway...

1. My personal Facebook account...

Started off with my very first social media account that I ever created, which was my personal Facebook account, signed in using my own Google account that I'm still heavily using it until today. Back in those days, I posted my own moments during I was in primary school particularly on my own account (such as certain of my old primary school's events, my old primary school's marching band, and so on). I also posted bunch of random stuffs in there, such as enjoying Plants vs. Zombies in certain ways by following one of our country's local group page of how everybody in our country would enjoy the said game, until how I "stalked" somebody who owned KFC Plants vs. Zombies toys in their personal account, albeit those toys that they showed were just the cameo about how they participating something with those of the Angry Birds chocolate container toys like what I particularly used to have...

Aside from those moments that I mentioned before, I met a lot of my own friends online, particularly from several of my old friends during I was in primary school, and so for most of my old friends during I was in junior high school (don't ask me about how I ONLY met just so few of them anyway). I also met some people who also owned their own YouTube accounts in their days too, especially for that one Canadian legend who is well-known for blowing speakers on his YouTube channel that is still exists until today. I even asked to him specifically about the reason why he made that video of him and his friends "removing" his ceiling fan with their heads for stupid reasons, even if he replied it to me particularly about why... Even if I somewhat excited if I was able to met all of the people that I met through this particular social media in it's days, I eventually ran into a problem that caused me left it for good. Don't ask me particularly about how come if I abandoned it, but my own Facebook account that I made from around a decade ago there is still left intact without any changes until today since my last post that I made from then, even if I do receive TONS of e-mail from it as well.

2. My very first YouTube channel...

Yes, I actually created my very first YouTube channel nicknamed myself back from more than a decade ago, and I literally had no intention about what content that I would made in it's days. Even if I uploaded some of my own videos in there, such as homemade windmills in somebody's rice fields and random marching band from a junior high school, I still had no intention about what kind of major content that I would explore into... until I ran into a problem particularly about how I singlehandedly forgot my own e-mail and password that was associated with it. Because of that, I created another channel, which was using the same e-mail that I'm currently using it until today, and so for another channel that I also created for extra stuffs.

3. My very first Instagram account...

I created this particular Instagram account back in May of 2014. Starting off by posting any of my random stuffs based of what things that I enjoy, mainly for fans and toys... Not only the fact I literally created like so in general, it's definitely because I wanted to explore anything deeper about them both in there, especially by how every people who also posted their own pictures of their aforementioned prides of them too (specifically for the toys section), albeit it was a year late. Everything about my own Instagram account and my own contents that I created there used to be normal, and the way how I followed several of the people in there also similar to what I've done with Facebook before, albeit in less quantity... Until a year later after I created it, I posted LOTS of tacky contents that are related to anything about Plants vs. Zombies, specifically by how I used to be "enthusiastic" of that one plant that is considered one of the worst ones yet in the game's sequel. I really had no idea about how come if I suddenly became an "enthusiast" of that one plant that I kept featured in it's days, but that's just me. It also made it look absurdly unbalanced by how it purely looks, which resulting in less interests with fans specifically for this particular account that I made there, even IF most of the fan enthusiasts were followed me in there... Because of that, I retired this particular account, and I created 2 new separate Instagram accounts for both fans and toys, respectively. As of the account itself that I made there, I simply left it intact, it's because I occasionally want to see my older pictures of them though.

Besides all of those, there are even more of my social media accounts that I ever owned through different social medias that I ever used. However, I only used each of them for much less amount of time than those, specifically by how I only posted my own pride just way less than those that I mentioned just above, and so for the ones that I simply never use it after I literally registered my own account on each of them too... So, here are lists about my social media accounts with the said traits that I mentioned about:

  1. Twitter : I only posted bunch of my own posts in there, and that was basically it (apart from the fact I only followed some people in there). I never come back to there since last time I used it, but the account itself is still left intact, yet I still do receive TONS of e-mail from it too, including the ones that encourages me to come back in there.
  2. Discord : Don't know why I decided to make my own account apart from the fact somebody requested me in order to hunt one of my favorite Plants vs. Zombies figures that I still missed until today particularly through one of the servers in there. I tried to check through it, but none of them found. So, I abandoned it, albeit the account itself is still left intact, yet I still own Discord app on my phone too.
  3. Omlet 🍳: You probably never heard of this particular social media platform nicknamed of that one egg-based meal, but this particular platform literally existed as a bloatware in one of my older Android devices that I used to have... I ever made an account on it, then I simply abandoned it straight after due to nobody would bother to use it in the first place.
  4. Line : One of my fan enthusiasts requested me in order to meet him and my other fan fellow enthusiasts through this particular social media platform. Everything particularly about it were alright when it comes to chatting each other in general, almost in similar manner as Whatsapp's and Instagram's direct message chats... Until I encountered a problem where I forgot my user ID on it that caused I couldn't even able to come back in there anymore.
  5. Telegram : I recently made my own account on this particular account using the same e-mail that I'm currently using right now. Even if I rarely use it apart from general chats from various people that I know, I occasionally using it for just a moment though, it's due to the fact it has a feature that literally "self-destructs" the account itself if I leave it for too long.
  6. Vimeo : I ever made an account in order to watch any videos with ease in there, but I never uploaded my own videos from it at all. It also made it even better, due to our country's goverment even blocked this particular platform for a moment until they decided to unblock it few years later. Due to all of that occurred, I never come back into it particularly with my own account that is associated with it anymore.
  7. Snack Video : I literally made an account that is associated with this particular video sharing social media platform due to back in those days, random YouTube 5-second ads always appeared back then that caused me to do so. Instead of using my main e-mail, I used my other e-mail that I own in order to register in it. I only uploaded 2 of my own videos, and that was basically it. Even if I occasionally visit this particular platform for viewing purposes only, I still don't upload even more of my content into it since last time I uploaded them both.

Well, there you have it for my summary particularly about social media platform abandonments that occurred on me. I don't think if I eventually abandon even more than these ones that I clearly stated in here, but it depends on my own chance if I somehow able to revive each of those accounts on their respective platforms, or even otherwise keep doing it if I have enough using them either way... If you have the same experience about how I abandoned some of my social media's accounts on each of their platforms, please let me know particularly about it in the comments section. That's particularly it for what I could literally explain about this, and thanks for reading this particular post- hold on...

How about Google+ that used to exist back in those days? Well, I actually used it quite often though, it's due to it obviously integrated directly with my own Google account. Even if I only met few people which majority of them were just the ones that I also seen them on YouTube from then, before they decided to fully shut down the whole platform itself considered by how unpopular it was compared to the others.
